Story after story about Vets going to Ukraine to join their forces to fight Russia. Unlike naive Isis brides disillusioned with neoliberal authoritarian culture, the media is championing GO GO GO. Isis brides didn’t get the same support or sympathies. Now, I’m not a Putin is a Captain save a country like some conservatives do genuinely believe, I don’t have the time or the want to care about what Putin does while I’m watching my country be torn asunder. But is the overt chance of dying from extraordinary propaganda that much easier to believe than Psychological warfare? Is it that easier to believe a lie than see the truth. Why do our youngest and brightest who have such a recent record of the evil our governments does to Vets thrice over, continue to fall for such blatant propaganda? Is that psychological warfare in and of itself? You cant be patriotic in your own country but in the mysteries of the foreign east. Overwhelmingly the medium media is white men. I have yet to see the MSM showing a brave POC fighting abroad in Ukraine forces while they actively recruit them in the Army with all the Woke decor of a neoliberal fantasy. The fact they can find a handful of these men is disturbing. Especially because men who fight abroad on foreign sides do come back holding the same radical beliefs as their foreign comrades which should be terrifying to Westerners cuz Azov is a nazi army, proudly so.
@Vincek33
Have you tried to go anywhere lately. Try to go from Europe to the US and or visa versa. I have a hard time believing vets are in droves signing up to go fight in the Ukraine. I believe it more propaganda then anything else.
No I haven’t thank God but it’s on the media. Now most of them Ukraine speaking. One was a US native. But the thing is if the TV tells them to go there people get inspired and they go. Weirdly enough this started before the invasion. And it was Ireland fisherman who were signing up. Jack Posobeic talked about it on his Twitter feed initially, but it didn’t get picked up on the MSM.
And funny you asked me this cuz I did think about doing this before but I never filled out a Visa and I was considering moving abroad cuz the anti Christian sentiment by the media but didn’t. I mean if we all run from the country what good would it do. I’m curious though cuz I’ve never traveled on plane. I should fill out a passport just to see. Let me edit this cuz it wasn’t the anti Christian sentiment but the traditional human rights, freedom of speech etc.
@Vincek33
Traveling times are over. I pray humanity will be allowed traveling to nearby destinations.
U know when I watched the latest DJ episode. Olivia said, “I think humanity was wakening up, we had shared experiences.” I’m loose quoting that, but the C19 op put us all back in this pri.ordial flight or fight thinking. I know CAF said before, they’re scared humanity will get to that point cuz we wouldn’t need these parasites anymore. And it is a struggle. Right, left, neighbors you know paranoid, masks on, wear one or not your political affiliation assume. Even if the covid narrative over and the war narrative introduced, Covid has had a global impact on humanity, exceptions don’t make rules. And I am fearful of it. I not covid but the narrative. It’s hurt us before. I never thought Russia would attack Ukraine, West invited it or not, the media is the template. Now decentralization has put a dent in it, but it’s crazy cuz we are facing global problems, how we act as individuals without incurring a global government beyond me.
Please forgive my misspellings, I type on a tiny keyboard faster than my mind gets out the thoughts.
@Vincek33
No worries about misspellings.
What I see in the world is that people under constant fear are fracturing. Personality diminishing and truely fracturing to a level that coherent thinking is not possible anymore. I believe that is on purpose. Humanity is fighting evil rulers and authoroties of the unseen world.
Pull yourself out of fear, pull the plug on regular media + digitalized world and go into nature with your son and ground yourself.
Why is everyone from all of the world signing up for international battalion in Ukraine?
And I believe, more of that is coming. That’s psychology one on one.
People in entire world for the last 2 years felt helpless regarding Covid narrative. Media propaganda was winning almost everywhere. People were forbidden to exercise their free will and basic constitutional rights. They see, that Ukraine is fighting for its freedom, that inspires them, and creates vent for their anger, helplessness, and betrayal of its citizens in the West particularly.
Meanwhile, we watch Truckers for Freedom further shut down our economy. People want to fight a war they know NOTHING about, a war that has been going on for almost a decade against RUSSIARUSSIARUSSIA instead of working for freedom at home.
Sigh
Many people in the West are at the tipping point, they see that short of going in arms on Washington, nothing will work, Ukraine is an psychological vent for many.
While I can’t confirm its, “in droves”, there are indeed US vets over there right now that I know personally. Some of the guys from a company called, Forward Observations, for example, are over there right now. I used to work with a few of these guys, all former special operations guys. They are indeed fighting/documenting, have US weapons and equipment that they brought over, and are all civilians now.
Why are they going you ask? Simple answer, because there’s a fight to be had. This will be lost on many or written off by the rest, but being a warrior in peace time is hell for those who’ve gone down the path. My personal story of transitioning into being a civilian was a horror story. Fighting, drinking, thoughts of suicide, etc. To be apart of a tribe and then to loose your tribe/brotherhood is a terrible obstacle to overcome, many don’t make it. I spent my entire Army career in special operations within the 75th Ranger Regiment. I grew up in battalion and later ascended into what’s know as RRD (now know as RRC). Once you step off the train, there’s no going back, the life is to fast paced and your buddy’s are long gone by the time you look back over your shoulder (training, deployments, etc.). I knew “transitioning” was going to be tough, but I never knew it was going to be as tough as it was. Many of those joining this fight IMO are a) looking to be apart of something again b) trying to prove something to themselves/others c) plain and simple, want to kill Russians. Option C sounds ludicrous, but a Russian adversary is the ultimate test of ones skills/ability and should not be overlooked as a viable motivator. As Americans we’ve been conditioned to view them as the ultimate enemy.
Men are not so different now, as they were throughout history, many seek adventure and romanticize combat.
I hope this helps. I understand the calling.

I have several friends just like you, Ronin, so I get it. (One is a close friend who was put back together after stepping on an IED in Iraq and I have spent time with his “warrior” buddies.) Even years after conflict, they are still driven. The problem here is that these well-trained Americans are likely fighting for the wrong side due to media-driven propaganda about this conflict. While we face “the great reset”, the Ukrainian cabal is part of the WEF/Biden-Clinton mafia that Putin is trying to eliminate from his “house next door”. Ukraine is a big part of the Reset and we need to stop it in its tracks- not die fighting Russians.
@Ronin
I am very glad you made the transition so in that regard welcome home but murder as sport to be a groupie I find rather sick. Western society has been in free fall for a long time and conditioning our young to this is just awfull.
Like I said, our vets could be fighting on the wrong side.
@neru I agree with you, re-reading my post I can understand the confusion. As Justa said, I too believe they MAY be fighting for the wrong side. I was just trying to shed some light on the “why.”
As for me, my eyes were opened while in Afghanistan, when I saw the opium being loaded up and shipped out. That was my moment of “awakening,” as they say. Many fighters are just pawns in the great game and never bother to think about who they’re really fighting for and/or why. I suppose this has always been the case. I don’t think this is a uniquely western problem. Men have fought wars for kings and tyrants since the dawn of recorded history, so in that regards, the conditioning on our youth was done long ago. Like Pavlov’s proverbial bell, young men hear the bells of war ring, they come running. I know I did. I’m younger than most on this forum, I was a senior in high school when 9/11 happened, and boy did I run to the fight.
Our warriors are really no different than your average person, they don’t apply much critical thinking or effort into the clear agendas going on around them. IMO, if you’ve got skin in the game, you’d better think it through, but like many of the members on this forum, my curiosity and thirst for truth/knowledge seems to be stronger than most of those around me.
@Ronin
Nothing personal intended and I agree fully with you on the conditioning of soldiers.
I am very happy for you because being a soldier can have a high price in so many ways. My mother often told me I was a strong willed horror. So, not exactly a group person by nature. It is enlightening hearing a voice from te opposite side, thanks Ronin.
