The FDA has to remind drug companies to meet the standards and test their stuff. Pitiful.
It’s interesting that certain brands of hand sanitizers also fall under scrutiny, and that the benzene recall comes on the heels of a worldwide push for these sanitizers.
I know! Everyone I know has those bottles of hand sanitizer. They send the kids to school with them, buy the gigantic size for the classroom, have them at any and all healthcare places. Now, it’s OOPS sorry our bad…don’t use these.
Better to just wash hands with soap and water. I never used, (or found it “fashionable”), to use the chemicals unless I was forced to - i.e. in establishments who insisted patrons use it upon entry. Thankfully I don’t encounter much of that anymore!
