… I’ll make one … there will be NO mass deportations. Here’s another … the greater part of the status quo (I am using “status quo” in its Latin sense of “the existing state”) will remain intact. While General MacArthur’s quoting of a line from an old barrack ballad is true for Old Soldiers it is unfortunately not true for “the existing state”.
