I think Binance Boys just played (on the stock/bond/cryptomarket) it away, or just stole it and orchestrated a ‘hack’ and blamed it on the North-Koreans. It’s not that elaborate, it is believable and logical, and the ‘North-Korean hackers’ already has a certain ‘track-record’ (which you couldn’t verify either), and we ‘know’ that they are bad guys, but we like them in secret, since they are the communist Robin Hoodies of the block. We can even bash Trump with it, if he dares to make another move with Kim Jong in the future.
