Does anyone recognize this brand for a fact check?

I do not recognize this brand at all but this has been circulating the NET for several days.

The website actuallyfoods.com won’t open for me. I’ve never heard of them either. Here’s the supposed website of its parent company Entomo Farms:

Don’t forget, you’re saving the planet too!

“Cricket farming requires far less resources than more conventional cattle, pig or chicken farming. Insects, such as crickets, emit fewer greenhouse gases and less ammonia than cattle or pigs, and they require significantly less land and water than cattle rearing. Learn more.”

Maple Leaf Foods is a huge name in Canada with many sub-brands. Sad to see them investing in this.

Why?

Serious question, why are they REALLY pushing bugs for human consumption? I’m guessing it causes some sort of long term effects (benefiting them), I just want some insight.

I just assumed they must be cheaper and faster to reproduce per square foot of space, and therefore more profitable, than other kinds of protein… but I don’t know if that’s true. Also, I’ve always had a strange feeling the elites get a kind of sick pleasure out of humiliating the masses (one reason, among others, for their pushing mandatory masks, I suspect); if so, forcing the plebs to eat bugs would sure do the trick.

Quite a lot of GMOs in kosher foods. I say this because I don’t know what is worse eating the foods that contain GMOs or insects. What a wonderful choice they give us.
