Cybersecurity guarantees your data is safe with us🤭.

Deceit to monitor deceit? Looks like India’s bureaucracy is pushing the surveillance state, not the elected representatives.

NSA also collects these records, which means therefore that Israel also has access to them, which means they are available to anyone for the right considerations. Deregulation of communications regulations in the late 1990s everyone made for this issue becoming an inevitability, as services became subcontracted and further subcontracted to save money and outsource liability. There will be further episodes of these I fear.

I find the response to data breaches is always a “free data monitoring” offer….:joy:

“ As part of its response, 700Credit is offering affected individuals 12 months of free identity protection and credit monitoring through TransUnion. You have a 90-day window to enroll in this service after receiving the notification.”

Are “Data Breeches” simply selling off data to X, Y & Z?
All money going into various private accounts.
HEADLINES translate; simply into another “SELLOUT”, that’s cashing in on data?

How many were real, and simply not part of the 20th-Worst Century’s: “BU$INE$$” AS ‘NORMAL’.
OR, the 20th-Wosrt Century’s Financial Motto: “FRAUD I$ OUR BU$INE$$ MODEL”

Notification is by US postal mail? That’ll save them a bundle of cash on the credit monitoring service since the code to sign up is in the letter.
I took a few classes from them in 2005. My employer reimbursed the cost. My mailing address has changed four times since enrollment…doubt I’ll receive a letter.
Again, the standard response to a data breach is a free membership to monitor your activity. :joy::joy:

It’s beyond ridiculous so expect trebling down by the PTW

… You can pay Chrome a small fee and they will “monitor” your activity for you (since 2017).

Cybersecurity?….sure…I thought data bases were monitored 24/7? Credit card companies do.

“The breach went undetected for days, giving attackers ample time to move through internal systems and steal sensitive data.”
