AI Trust Apocalypse ... Gee, I didn't think that currently there was anything left of the Trust Molecule

Following a trend that was already spreading; books just written by Coory Docttow and Tim Wu speak to this breakdown in major sites like Facebook, Anazon, Google, etc.
Where they basically cannilbalize their own sites.
Now, AI powered scams are flooding the internet without prejudice, nor remorse. Great article.

AND, you have the recent social media platforms where artificial intelligence bots can interact with one another[like MOLTBOOK]. MOLTBOOK now claims to host more than 1.6 million agents-registered to the site by human creators-which have posted over 200,000 times-independent of humans. Ai “agents”, bots capable of using computer programs, are encouraged “to post, comment, and interact with others of their own accord”. Of course Musk gets in the act saying that these self-directed, bot-to-bot conversations are the "early stages of the sungularity?.

But the world’s best Elvis impersonators, will never be Elvis.

Welcome to the 20th-Worst Century’s New Versions of Circus Maximus.
There are many more, in all kinds of stages, genres and God knows what!

Gmail, eh? Seems like a good time to migrate to a Protonmail account for anything important or semi-private, if one hasn’t already done so… I’m no expert but it would seem to have a bit more protection/encryption.

I’ve been doing the family passcode thing for a while now, but it doesn’t help if it’s been uttered in front of a smartTV or was copied in an email once upon a time. Perhaps a well known single sentence summary of a shared experience that wasn’t previously worth over-sharing should be holstered for this occasion…

In the meantime, enjoy the time we have, savor it even…the last easy day was yesterday…

I used to care but then it was like the Army got all 10 of my fingerprints, my bloodtype, DNA, who knows what. Then the OPM was hacked and then everything was hacked and like, whatever.
As long as no one takes my ‘money’ I guess.

Well, that does it…I’m signing up for a digital ID and not interacting with anyone who doesn’t have one too. Just like the vaccine era….

I’d genuinely like to know the percentage of people who have jab-remorse.

Those that survived that is… it’s the relatives that are living with the loss.

For anyone interested there’s at least one Canadian that’s leading quite a campaign against the government. Lawsuits, TONS of negative press, and a film dedicated to the memory of his son
that was allowed to take the shot AGAINST his parent’s will and WITHOUT their knowledge…

He just wanted to play hockey… His name was Sean:
