I read the book when it came out, that was decent, and I think I watched the first episode when visiting a friend, but I cant remember it was something I thought I needed to catch the rest of.

We can become, holy fathers, saints, Sons of God, etc., but not God.
That we will become like God is a lie. It will never be.
