Why Is a Communist system moving ahead in innovation of the greatest capitalist system in the world?

Watch videos on Shenzhen. The Chinese trump impersonator. I don’t want to live there. But objectively, it beats all U.S. cities in many categories. I don’t see homeless encampments. Immigrant hotels. Federal troops on the streets.

I don’t want to live in a culture where I am one of few gringos walking down the street and eat hot pot every day. But the Chicoms are efficient

Is it really that hard to define? why is it surprising when an intelligent, innovative, homogeneous mono-culture outperforms one like… what did you call it? … “one of few gringos walking down the street…” ? Perhaps you weren’t really looking for the answer, because it is obvious? Has less to do with any governing “ism” but more with how fundamentally intelligent and how great a work ethic a mono-culture has vs a multi-cultural “diversity is a greatest failing” one? Are there any still alive today in denial of this obvious truth?
Real question is how long does one sing the old, tired multi-cultural songs while going down with the judas goats playing their dirges for the ship-of-state going down? Especially when a little history lesson on what made a nation great could provide the obvious conditions to turn things around?
When has there ever been a successful nation flooded with hostile, raping, stabbing welfare recipients displacing their native populations? In any sane, intelligent society when could this be seen as anything but a hostile invasion of parasites intent on feeding on a dying nation without the will to defend itself?

Industrial Capitalism vs Financial capitalism.

Of all races, all religions, and all persuaions.

I think you nailed it!!

Even if we did build such a train, don’t think government would want it’s citizens to have that much mobility.

New York to Idaho now becomes a day trip. Imagine all the people from the coasts and the border that could get to all sorts of places in less than a day.
