Dog Lovers' Lounge

Finally, a poodle owner. I can’t share pictures of my Leda miniature black poodle; they are old-fashioned paper pictures, and they are overseas. I got her for my high school graduation gift. My father didn’t know, when he found out he wanted to throw her out of the house, I said if she goes, I go too. Later on, she basically become his dog. I miss her terribly. She’s been gone for a while, now.

It’s a cat, probably assumed the dogs were inferior to him.

P.S. My sister’s bull arab mastiff when a pup when to a puppy school. He annoyed the organisers by running up to the graduation table and spilling the award certificates on to the ground.

One Catholic priest I know has seven elderly dogs, a few weeks ago one of them had a seizure on Wednesday morning so he was not able to give a sermon that day since he took that dog in for medical care instead.

If anyone would like to pray for Father Paul’s dogs that they be well and not experience seizures, this could help so he can give a good sermon tomorrow.

Thanks, ok I can tell Paul about that.

You can also pray for my neighbor’s one eyed dog named preacher to stop barking so much, please.

Today I learned from Father Paul that one of his dogs has now passed beyond the veil to the great beyond.

So sorry for his loss, B. Be healed in heaven, dear doggie – my prayer.

Losing our best friends is unbelievably painful.

Separate but related, has anyone noticed their dogs ‘talking’ more lately? Mine has been. And it brought to mind the idea (not originally his I think) that Clif High has been talking about; going into the new yuga, solar system moving up and down relative to the galactic center and our brains being exposed to ‘new’ to us now alive cosmic energies, and how that will likely ‘wake up’ portions of our cognitive / spiritual capabilities that have been been asleep for centuries. If this is true for humans, it is likely also true for dogs and other creatures. If we start seeing behavioral changes to animals it might be a good clue to follow.

Mine here in DFW has been ‘talking’ much more lately. I posted on this further below speculating why…

My retriever beamed when I brought a xmas tree into the house. At last - my own indoor convenience! He promptly cocked his leg and weed on it.

At about 2:50 minutes into this short cooking video (the video link is after the recipe) on buckwheat granola — some happy cuties showed up for their granola snacks… and I couldn’t resist putting this one on “Dog Lover’s Lounge”…
