One Catholic priest I know has seven elderly dogs, a few weeks ago one of them had a seizure on Wednesday morning so he was not able to give a sermon that day since he took that dog in for medical care instead.
If anyone would like to pray for Father Paulâs dogs that they be well and not experience seizures, this could help so he can give a good sermon tomorrow.
Those are cats, not dogs!!
Thanks, ok I can tell Paul about that.
You can also pray for my neighborâs one eyed dog named preacher to stop barking so much, please.
Today I learned from Father Paul that one of his dogs has now passed beyond the veil to the great beyond.
So sorry for his loss, B. Be healed in heaven, dear doggie â my prayer.
Losing our best friends is unbelievably painful.
Separate but related, has anyone noticed their dogs âtalkingâ more lately? Mine has been. And it brought to mind the idea (not originally his I think) that Clif High has been talking about; going into the new yuga, solar system moving up and down relative to the galactic center and our brains being exposed to ânewâ to us now alive cosmic energies, and how that will likely âwake upâ portions of our cognitive / spiritual capabilities that have been been asleep for centuries. If this is true for humans, it is likely also true for dogs and other creatures. If we start seeing behavioral changes to animals it might be a good clue to follow.
Mine here in DFW has been âtalkingâ much more lately. I posted on this further below speculating whyâŚ
My retriever beamed when I brought a xmas tree into the house. At last - my own indoor convenience! He promptly cocked his leg and weed on it.
My Dachshunds used to love itâşď¸
At about 2:50 minutes into this short cooking video (the video link is after the recipe) on buckwheat granola â some happy cuties showed up for their granola snacks⌠and I couldnât resist putting this one on âDog Loverâs LoungeââŚ
My wife and I visited Dog Chapel several years ago. It is a wonderful and beautiful place. The walls are covered in pictures and memorials to beloved doggies who passed, placed there by visitors.
The founders, Stephen Huneck ( who was a very talented artistâsee the examples on the website) and his wife Gwendolyn unfortunately both took their own lives several years ago. The chapel is being kept up by others. See:

Very sad but very inspiring.
80-year-old retiree noticed that people were abandoning their dogs near his farm, so he took them in and built a train to take them out for rides
The vet took these photos of Maple yesterday. We went there for the junior care check up. All is well.
Maple is a healthy teenager. Everything i learned her she has forgotten unless i have food.
Reminds me of a shop window with Henry vacuums doing a nativity scene.
