“They” want Canada for the same reason they want Russia. Natural resources in abundance and then some. Australia and New Zealand would make lovely island summer homes at the opposite time of year from northern climes. I hope they all get chased by kangaroos and herded towards crocodile habitats.

Almost certainly multiple issues.
- They are lower pop, so easier as a test run, and not as much of an issue if there is severe blowback.
- USA is their enforcer; tyranny’s always give special consideration to the enforcers, at least until they don’t have to or get another enforcer.
- Aus and NZ are largely disarmed. No, your grandad’s double barrel doesn’t count as being armed in this case.
- China has a lot of influence and ownership there. Either because China will help out with the tyranny as they are allied w/ the anglosphere elites, or because those elites are opposed by China and they need more control over AZ/NZ before they purge Chinese influence.
#2 is probably the biggest reason, and part of the reason behind #3 as well. Also part of the reasoning behind #1, as if AZ/NZ revolt there will be 24/7 media propaganda about how NAZIS!!! took over and once again the USA needs to ride to the rescue of the Free World. Cue reports of babies being thrown out of incubators and koala bears being hunted to extinction.
