Do you care to comment then perhaps on the views of the early church towards ‘innocent’ pagans who essentially had a communion with Nature but not with a Christian Father?
I have MANY times in vidchat. And incidentally, the idea that one achieves oneness with God is NOT a heresy, depending on what you mean by “oneness”. As St. Athanasius said, “God became man so that man might become God.” You seem to be under the impression that certain western forms of the religion are the only ones out there, and then use that as a template by which to interpret all the others. For us, the “appropriation” of which you speak is a natural human phenomenon, as all religions do it. But Christians, however, also view it as a component of their understanding of recapitulation.
Here I show my naivety and ignorance of Orthodox and Eastern forms of Christianity, but yes, in my mind, oneness, and tying in with my statement ‘we all can be as Jesus’ in my mind, is subsuming ones earthly sense of egoic self, and instead vibrating at and with , in harmony with God.
I will edit to add, this if done ‘properly’ will naturally lead one towards respect for life and a compassionate love.
Now for the sake of discussion, here I go out on a questioning tree-branch: Positing that for the sake of argument the creator or later-infector of Earth was a ‘bent one’ or demiurge, IF ‘proper’ yoga or ritual leads one to feel more compassionate towards life and more humble, does this ipso facto mean that one would be somehow naturally ‘bypassing’ the negative influence and death-wave of the false creator, and going straight to the Source? Or . conversely, would it be possible there is an existence of a ‘false’ compassion and one is unknowingly uniting with the Demiurge, regardless? hmmmmm
It’s about getting an edge against the shedding from the vaccinated.
