I had something similar happen at a “modern art” installation when I tripped over a line of bricks that stretched across the floor and brought up at a table on which reposed a commode wrapped in brown paper and string.

its clearly a prototype for the movie “Arthur” Dudley Moore. (they stole the idea and rewrote it is what I mean, really only changed the money coming from inheritance instead of the woman he marries, and being a total drunk) : ) I like seeing filmmaking from this era, so different, pace is very different, low key, very human.

One of our favorite series is THE LOST ROOM. It aired on the Sci-Fi network and was only on for one season, which is a shame. The plot revolves around a cop searching for his daughter who is lost in some kind of a time-warp related to an old motel on Route 66 and the “objects” of the one time inhabitant.
