Movie date night

Well, I just popped in disc 1 and was watching an updated Sherlock Holmes.
Not bad, as versions go[and there are many].
I remember watching it now, when it came out.
Thanks again, for cluing me in.

But I prefer the new animated version:
Sherlock Holmes In the 22nd Century.

Thanks, mate. After grading papers, I’ll watch something. What do you recommend? I feel like a law, spy or dance movie. Or maybe … a pi___te film?

I think this will be satisfying. In a galaxy far, far away on a distant mining planet, greedy corporations are very, very uninterested in the fates of mere mortal men, meanwhile and at the same time interplanetary war is looming or ongoing and at the end there is a moving teddy bear…etc :smirk:

And (clears throat) … your movie recommendation for the weekend, mates? If I get all my grading done, church attended (Confession, too), dinner date with a couple and their priest, birthday party for elderly friend and wife, laundry done, shopping and baking reasonably completed, kitchen cleaned, and to-go/ gift bags provided the friends … I feel like a dance :dancer: movie or a… p ____ film. I am actually wondering, do you know where I can see the work of Spanish director, Carlos Saura? Thanks for visiting and your kind words this week. Alicia xo

Sort of on topic; off topic.
Back in the early 1970’s I was in San Francisco
and watched a couple of Andy Warhol 3-D movies:
Blood for Dracula and Frankenstein.
Both X-Rated; w/very hardcore class warfare themes.

I’ve often wondered what he would have done w/Alice In Wonderland.

Thanks for the above,
I’ve put this on my Must Watch List.
