Need Help Identifying an Anomaly

Any thoughts on the cloud, uh, ahem… “anomaly” annotated with red arrows below? I saw this last night while monitoring the storms. Long shadows cast by the setting sun suggest the object is substantially higher than surrounding other clouds, but it could also be an illusion. The anomaly also appears cylindrical and solid with some straight edge features. Anyhow, its appearance (and that of other smaller ones) was extremely rapid, possibly suggesting it was ejected, excited, and/or piloted.

Normal? Natural? If so, what is the explanation?
