I really like Richard, especially his older interviews, some of them with really interesting people (including doc !), but this is quite disappointing. But I guess this is what you got for being a hardcore materialist. He is not alone, that is for sure, I know a lot of people who thinks like this, even my favourite guy George Carlin did, and the education of last era (and its orchestrators) is to blame. If he is so much in love with the AI topic, has he ever asked himself how his own inteligence does work ? Brain might be comlicated, but basically, if it is just physical particles, then the basic physical forces moves the particles, which mens bye bye free will (and creativity), and there is no escape from it. So far as I know, nor Tesla nor Newton believed that ! These people, who “loves science”, also never mention certain phenomenas of quantum physics…
