I’ve seen a similar ‘setting sun’ off the east coast of Canada in the summer months before. Very pretty but doesn’t last long of course. Dust particles in the atmosphere and the angle of the sun’s rays was the explanation if I remember correctly. That also makes a plausible cover for aerosols and other human activities etc.
Have you come up with any kind of explanation for the photo you shared?
Had you been wondering about some kind of military testing? (ISome analysts suggest that countries worldwide seem to be in some kind of DEW race)?
I read a few comments saying that it was a phenomenon of accumulation of ice crystals in the atmosphere, but I have no idea if this is true…
In the 80’s, I was stationed on Diego Garcia, one of the atolls that make up the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Hands down the most beautiful place I have lived on Earth. Photos of sunsets worthy of being on postcards and calendars were truly a dime a dozen. Sun rays beaming out of gaps between clouds and the gradual and predictable cascade of colors… yellow, orange, red, pink, gray, etc. Somewhere in a box I have those hundreds of pics. At some point I just stopped carrying the camera to the beach as the images all looked the same.
One morning I was up very early and on the a lagoon beach facing east. For the first time I saw a sunrise with rays symmetrically broken by distant clouds, left to right, horizon-to-horizon. I stood in awe, as it was so beautiful and rare. I was immediately reminded of the “Land of the Rising Sun” flag image of Japan all the while regretting I had left that bulky Canon in the barracks.
My point is about sun rays. I don’t see them anymore. Nothing in the sky above is natural anymore. That photo you posted—I never saw something like that on a calendar or postcard. As a matter of fact, I never saw a sunset like that until you shared it.
Do a search on the internet and most of what you see is garbage chem-sets.
something is off and I can not pinpoint , beside the erratic shuman , the earth turning faster and the constant feel of being tired!
I live in gent (belgium ) btw
About two weeks ago the sunshine was white!
I do know about the frequency change of 13 years ago , but the sun was very white , and yet not as warm
greetings
Yes the frequency change in 2012 prompted me to seek a more meaningful way of living and give up the corporate lifestyle in a big city and move out. So glad I did….and here I am.
