Have seen light kind of like that with sun setting in mountains, but that is over the ocean?

Reminds me, somewhat, of an image that “Truth Comes to Light” pasted above Dr. Farrell’s 2021 Giza article (link to the original story is now broken).

Not sure if this looks similar to that to anyone:

If the light is shining through clouds can be sort of rays like that, but that is unusual original picture doesn’t really look natural.

Sort of looks like upside down reflection of sun in water:

That could explain that, if after the sun has set it is reflecting back on the atmosphere above if there is haze or something?

If I may ask, I reside in Antwerp and live in my garden as fast as the weather permits. Even with all the spraying and weather modification I could enjoy the prolonged outings in my small garden. This year however, the cook pressure feeling is so severe, the feeling outdoors is becoming more and more uncomfortable. This uncomfortable feeling is very physical aswell as spiritual. Do you feel a difference in your surroundings compaired to last year experience?

Yes I do. Actually, some months ago, I wrote a submission for a vidchat regarding that. I mentioned particularly my feelings every time I go to Porto - where I lived for almost 14 years. Now, every time I go there I feel a clear discomfort. It comes from the interaction with people, but in some way it feels to me as if it is engrained in the city itself…

Well from a cultural standpoint, the city of Porto has certainly gotten more ‘casual/global/dirty’ each time I go back. My wife is from Celorico de Basto and I have been to Porto successively on short tourist trips for a few days prior to the airport in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2023 and each time the people dress ‘sluttier’, the streets are dirtier and full of more graffiti, the local Portuguese shop owners close up shop and there are more Indian and Brazilian stores and workers. A clear discomfort is a way of putting it. The country has been sold out to the highest bidder just like a lot of the EU , unfortunately.

I totally agree, Chris. Interesting that you have been so regularly there and noticed that. It’s very sad and if you go there now I believe you will see further change. And not for the better in any way. May I ask where you are from?

I forgot to mention we have tickets to fly in in late August! Oh boy!
I am ‘proud to be an American’
I will surely report back my findings
Bad memory that sticks in my gut is the very rude Brazilian waiters in Porto. Also the slimy Brazilian rental car guy that tried to entrapt me into paying for damages that were not mine. Thankfully we took photos and video. …
Not all Brazilians are bad of course.

Yes, Porto used to have a rather “harsh” character to it. But over these last years, as you say, it has become just harsh, period. The housing prices and cost of living in general, are almost at the level of insanity of Lisbon. And I mean insanity, really. Endless years of the “socialist miracle” have left very poor, pretending to be trendy…
(In the summer, if you need something, let me know, as I’m only 70km away)

Muito obrigado senhor
My biggest sadness is the change in character in the restaurants.
From first trip to last is a real sad eye opener.

Local bistros and catch of the day , changing to to more commercial crap and reheated things and not even talking about the prices.

One thing that will stand the test of time is the wine of Anselmo Mendes. We discovered him in the States but sadly his distributor stopped :frowning:

Don’t know that wine… I’ll have to check that!
Oh, the restaurants trying to become trendy, that is the worst nightmare … :frowning:

Dude- worst case of that restaurant story was of course in Porto.
We all know the North is known for good game, pig, wine, wood, earthy.
They were trying to make the place into some kind of Gordon Ramsay wannabe thing so instead of letting the boar sing for itself, they (wait for it) ground it up! And put it into like a meatball , ok bad, but, inside a hard shell pastry dough!
OK you can kind of taste the meat.
Then they put fruit jam on top!

fruit jam on top… I know, its the desire of wanting to be different… they just end up being ridiculous…

Not really no. When I read the heading I thought you were maybe in Alaska or near the Arctic Circle?

People worldwide are seeing a lot of strange things & experiencing weird weather!! TPTB do not want us to know that there are 8 other planets interacting with our planet. We are a binary solar system & this other group of planets came into view from the South about 2009. They have been passing so close to us that they have filled our skies so that we thought it WAS our skies!! Sometime a “light pinch” can be seen as two planets are blocking out the light from our Sun!! Check out the SAMUEL HOFMAN interviews on Radio Wasteland or go to Montana Skywatcher for real photos of our Twin System!!
