@vardas3 not sure what the system was in US but in UK there was constant, incessant drive to “book your appointment” - although there were drop-in centres but i have a feeling these were to mitigate the optics and make the whole process appear more benevolent to the masses

why would you need to “book an appointment” to avoid the most deadly pandemic in recorded history?

he cried at the night of our common friend’s marriage, that “i cannot escape it”. his tears were flowing down on his beautiful face. his father is one of the very much high-ups. he told me that i cannot imagine what he goes through, saying he wants to escape but he has nowhere to go, since ‘they’ will find him or, at last, will kill him.

what do you mean by “common friend” and why did he cry at his marriage?
what does he want to escape? it is entirely unclear
who will kill him? why?
