What Happens When CBC Tries to Humiliate Canada's Most Feisty Professor?

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is reeling after a sneaky attempt to humiliate Canada’s courageous and feisty political science professor, Dr. Frances Widdowson, who has become famous for insisting that universities adhere to academic principals instead of woke ideologies. (A labour relations board recently ruled that she was unjustly fired, and Canadians are wondering if she may be reinstated at Mount Royal University in Alberta.)

For those who missed the dramatic media trickery this week: Dr. Widdowson was lured to a studio, on the pretence of being invited to give an interview on Canadian history and was confronted with a bunch of bizarre actors. At some point, she deduced that a deception was being played on her, and she managed to get access to her recording device, and began to expose the operation, which was later found to be tied to an American company. Some retired RCMP veterans were also lured for a bizarre and perverse (and unbelievable) humiliation operation.

… also In March 2026, “investigative journalists” with the CBC News program The Fifth Estate bullied and harassed Nicholas Fuentes overseas payment processing system Entropy. Following the broadcast of the CBC’s so-called “documentary”, Entropy’s co-founder admitted that Georgian banks shut down their accounts due to the intense scrutiny, prompting them to transfer funds back to Canada and prepare to shut the site down. Canada is “friendly” but not our friend in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

That is not surprising. Orwellian Propaganda Dissemination seems to be the purpose of CBC.

One thing I’ve learned about CBC: When CBC runs a Hit Piece on someone, then that warrants some attention, some inquisitiveness about what that individual (onto whom the hit piece was directed) has to contribute to the information field. And after that, the information field gets really interesting.

In another thread, I had mentioned another CBC hit piece, on a New York based dance company, that came into my attention some years ago (given an interest I have in classical music and art from various traditions around the world). There, the CBC (building on a Hit Piece disseminated by the NYT) seemed to have had a problem with that dance company being openly disaligned with the Chinese CCP. (???) It seems as if CBC works for the Fourth Reich…

Brings to mind the German situation in 1933 (vividly described in Eric Metaxas book Bonhoeffer) when they morphed from democracy to totalitarian socialsim. The parallels are very sharp in their precise alignments…

Yes, well – is it even possible to be “friends” with an intellect that’s succumbed to Woke thanks to the CBC?
