As always original sources are best … the Charmides by Plato … not sure I go along with (or approve of) Aristotle’s thought that technology is a means of man in helping to complete nature. Before using technology to bring about objects not NATURALLY found in nature (if memory serves Aristotle said something along those lines) It would seem that much thought should be put into the question of whether or not it is a GOOD (in the Socratic / Platonic sense) that the proposed objects be brought into the World. Certainly questions related to the effect(s) of bringing those objects into the World on current states of affairs (relations effecting belief) as they are in the World and how they could or might be altered in turn possibly altering perception(s) of Reality should be of considered.
